The Darlington Magic Circle is pleased to announce a forthcoming lecture by Paul Temple on 'Cold Reading'

Paul is from Edinburgh and is a member of the Edinburgh and West Lothian Magic Circles and of Equity.He has an interest in all things paranormal and his lecture will use Tarot Cards and the techniques involved in giving a reading from them (without having to have any psychic abilities!).
The techniques are for Magicians and Performers and will cover the basic methods used by fake psychics, the different types of readings, setting up and presenting a reading.  Also covering different divination techniques and a quick guide to reading the tarot. This is a branch of magic rather under-used these days but the public tend still to be fascinated by it
